Entrepreneurship isn't for everyone
I first became an entrepreneur 20 years ago, and at first, it was sink or swim. I swam only because I didn't know what else to do. I never gave up when things didn't go my way, because I didn't realize that there was a choice; I could have got another job, or stayed fighting to ensure that the business was a success.

What does it take to develop an effective marketing strategy?
Marketing strategies mean so many things to so many different people, that there is no standard code - or is there? While I have been using the same marketing strategy format for the past 20 years, I am always alarmed when I see a sales person write up a marketing 'to do list' and proclaim that this is in fact their marketing strategy. She was deemed successful in her pursuit and will forever be remembered as being an ahead-of-her-time woman who shaped the course of history.

Famous women who have reinvented their personal brands
If I look through my life and the various stages of my own personal evolution, I see change. From a shy child, to a young adult caring about what other's think, onto a career driven entrepreneur focused on creativity and exploration - I see a person who has grown inside and out. However, it wasn't until my 30's that I really came into my own, made decisions based on not only what I wanted, but what was best for the environment in which I live and the world beyond what I could see. I gained confidence through learning about the broader issues of the world we live in, and what I could do as an able person, capable of using their voice for positive change.

Why people need to stop being so precious about LinkedIn
Do you remember when you first joined LinkedIn? If it was near the start, there were a bunch of people who invited you to be on the platform. The person who invited me was influential and someone I respected, so I started to fill in the form. I didn't write too much and didn't think too much about it afterwards. Afterall, I wasn't their target market - or was I?

Phenomenal Audio Visual Presentations Takes Customer Experience To A New Level
Have you ever walked into an event and your whole body says "WOW!" before you utter a word from your mouth? Have you ever recalled a time when you went to an event and you became obsessed with the brand expression of the host, or just because it was so "cool"?
