How QR codes can help your business

By Melinda Le

Have you seen an increasingly large amount of those quirky, square-shaped, two-dimensional graphic images floating around recently? QR codes probably started popping up noticeably in 2012 and have since been a prominent marketing tool used by tech-savvy whizzes and consumers alike.

QR code, an abbreviation from ‘Quick Response Code’, is the trademarked matrix barcode that originated from the automotive industry in Japan. The code is made up of numerous black dots that are subsequently arranged in a square grid on a white background. The information encoded within this matrix may be made up of four standardised kinds (“modes”) of data- numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary, Kanji- or through various supported extensions, virtually any type of data.

When the time is right, it's right!

Has anyone ever said to you before "when the time is right, it's right"?

I have heard it a few times and I have to say, it's exactly that. I heard it, but I didn't 100% believe it. Is the time ever right?

Is technology driving your organisation?

Last week I met with an innovative company that has worked with a client of mine in the IT and Sustainability sector on developing technologies to better manage processes within the organisation.

If we didn’t know it before, we sure know it now. Technology has taken over the world. Soon, this blog won’t need me to type up stories every day. I will be replaced by a piece of technology that comes up with new and innovative stories all by itself – and it will be funnier, more interesting and less expensive.
