Starting an online business
Watching A Current Affair with Tracey Grimshaw this evening, I began to wonder what people would think watching the article on starting an online business.
Aimed at targeting women that have left the workforce to become mothers, there were endless stories of women that have been highly successful building an online business.
The reality is that building an online business is hard work, takes alot of patience and requires you to learn alot about marketing yourself online. It’s not for everyone and that is something that everyone must be aware of.
Importantly, if you are thinking about starting an online business, think about what you want to achieve, how you are going to get there and then go out and ask people their thoughts on the business and whether they would buy your products or services.
Ask people to be honest, because if they aren’t, you may end up with an expensive website that does nothing.
Also, beware of companies that promise you rankings on google and charge anywhere between $500 and $2000 per month and sign you up on a 12 month contract. Go to a course and learn yourself and you might find that seo takes anything from 3 to 6 hours to do.
