5 Marketing Strategies That You Could Be Doing Better
Do not dispair. Fast-tracking your marketing campaigns and using some fail-proof marketing strategies to generate leads, and improve your brand communications can be done efficiently and effectively - if you know how.
Talk to your customers
We are so busy working, that we are not talking enough. It is so important to get to know your customers well and to engage in their businesses enough to understand where they are coming from so you can be flexible and nimble to accomodate their needs. In marketing, the practitioners are so busy writing and executing marketing campaigns, they forget how effective they could be if they understood the customer more intimately. What makes them buy from you? What makes them refer your company? What makes them ambassadors pushing your brand far and wide? Building better relationships with customers is key to making the entire sales process easier.
Be social, and send emails
The two go hand in hand. That means connect with customers and prospects on all social media channels and start having real conversations with them, retweet their content and giving them the suppor they need to push their brand out in the market. Follow this up with e-marketing, check open rates and who has looked at the email and clicked through, then followup with a call. Fairly old-fashion and simple, yet super effective.
Run competitions on social media
By having give-aways on social media platforms like facebook where you encourage people to share in order to win, will not only get you more followers, but you will be able to request people who have liked your post to share your post, and follow your social media accounts. Then the communications begins and all of a sudden your audience just became much bigger.
Curate better content
We all get busy and start pushing out content for contents sake, but if you get your team together, there are so many creative ways to share content and get more interesting content that is shareable. Video is great, but so too is a good written piece of content that inspires, or a quote. Try puzzles and games to get better interaction with your followers and prospects. There really is so much to do, but if you ask your team to share what is their favourite piece of content online, you may be inspired to do the same.
Direct Marketing
It's expensive but with everything being so electronic now, people find good, high quality direct marketing pieces to be something that they keep, long after you have sent it to them. When they need a product or service, they pull it out of the drawer and boom, you have a sale.

25 Jan 2018This is some great advice. I couldn't agree more with ensuring you produce fresh, new content. I also agree heavily with the communication part. It is definitely key for any successful business.
