Engage customers everywhere, or go nowhere

One of the biggest mistakes any business owner can make is thinking that they are singularly capable of everything; accounting, management, finance, marketing etc.

We see all too commonly, small to medium business owners who think they know marketing. Reality check: just because you own your own business, this doesn’t make you a marketing expert. Its time to take your business to the next level by acting now and investing in both marketing and a comprehensive strategy to strategically and tactically help achieve your business goals in both the short and long term.

June is not for the faint hearted. Not only are business owners like me trying to get last minutes sales in to boost our financial performance, we are also trying to ensure that we take advantage of any tax breaks that may come our way thanks to the Australian Taxation Department. Sadly for me, I am not part of the criteria for the asset tax break of $20,000, but I am sure there are a few other areas that our accounting department can take advantage of.

Grow, grow, grow

How do they do it? It’s a question that all entrepreneurs ask themselves at one stage or another. We see companies all the time that are in our space and they have grown phenonomenally over a short period of time. Sometimes they then fall flat and other times, they keep going. The latter is harder to achieve.
