For the past 8 months, I have been going to pilates. It’s something that I never did more than ‘on occasion’ for most part only when I arrived from a long-haul flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles. The hangover from the past few years has slowly disappeared and after the first quarter last year, I started to rethink life. 

Marketing is a dynamic and ever-evolving field that requires the collaboration of multiple individuals with diverse skills and experiences. Teams that work together effectively are more likely to produce better results and overcome challenges more efficiently. In addition, as team members can bring different perspectives and ideas to the table, collaboration can result in new and innovative ideas, improved problem-solving, and increased productivity, leading to more creative and effective marketing campaigns.

Fact: Healthier and fitter employees are HAPPIER, they have increased self-confidence, they are more productive and they have more energy! We’ve heard it all before, but seriously, regular physical activity is vital for good physical and mental health, and this is why we encourage all our employees to engage.

If you are anything like me, you have read every book possible on how to motivate employees to be high performers. It constantly changes according to what you read and there is no rule of thumb that works for all employees. Each time you read a book or blog that espouses to have the secret sauce, you find that there are some underlying issues that the company they are talking about may have.

Never want to work a day in your life, then speak with a passionate entrepreneur and you will fast realise that this is very possible.

Entrepreneurship may not be for the faint-hearted, but it certainly has a lot of pros and not as many cons.

Of the Oscar nominated films I have watched so far – and I have watched a few – Whiplash has been my favourite. Putting aside the amazing performance by JK Simmons and the incredible score, it got me thinking about how far people are willing to go to get the best out of themselves and others.
