Last week I met with an innovative company that has worked with a client of mine in the IT and Sustainability sector on developing technologies to better manage processes within the organisation.
One size does not fit all and often businesses buy new technologies that are ‘out of the box’ and they don’t quite work for the organisation.
Redgum founder Robin Vessey started his company over 13 years ago and develops tailored technologies to suit individual organisations, streamlining processes, building systems and making sure all the different software solutions within the company work together and are importantly talking.
What struck me about the guys at Redgum is that they don’t outsource to India, China or Philippines but instead hire local Melbourne software developers that are able to work closely with the client.
All of their clients are long-term and most of their staff have been with the company for more than 5 years, which says something about the organisation.
If an organisation has issues pertaining to large memberships technology platforms, these guys are the ones to speak to. They are in fact a company’s development partner and work as part of the team developing technologies.
