Last night I had two hours sleep. I lay in bed for hours on end tossing and turning, thinking about a whole heap of things.

Today is one of those days. I woke up every hour from midnight, ready to get up and pack my bags for yet another trip. 

I have spent my weekend looking at the big picture. Where is my business going? How am I and the rest of my team going to get it there? What is going to make the company more unique? How do we retain our talented team? What incentives do we need to have in place? All the normal questions really.

There are many reasons why people are held back from reaching their full potential. Some are due to circumstances that they feel they cannot get out of. Other reasons may be that they have commitments over their heads. Or perhaps it's them. They dream big, but do nothing about it.

They are an affectionate bunch - by accident. It's not how they intended to be and it certainly is not politically correct to hug your colleagues particularly in this era of 'harassment' claims, but someone had to do it, and they did it right.

In October, Marketing Eye will host its first corporate retreat for staff from around the world. We have put a lot of thought into where we should go, what sort of program would benefit employees, what our objectives are, and how do we engage our employees to go on the ride of growing the business to the next level.

As of a few days ago, I had never heard of Lauren Southern. That all changed when a fellow tweeter asked me if I have been watching her coverage. I hadn't. In fact, I hadn't read the news for almost a week. I have grown tired of fake news, sensationalism and spin that takes everyone away from the real facts. 

Has anyone else fell in love with the television show "Younger"?

The continuous fake job advertisements being placed on a scandalous platform such as Glassdoor, curated by scraping websites of companies that they have encouraged to hire their services, has hit a low point.
