How to get leg up on your competitors in 2018/19
Everyone is busy doing budgets for the next financial year, and setting sales forecasts, while marketers are frantically trying to ensure that marketing strategies are in line with the results that management are looking for. What is most important is the ability for companies to read the market, understand what customer want, and easily communicate why they should choose a particular company over another.
Marketing Eye is fine-tuning our 2018/19 marketing strategy for Australia, ensuring that we don't just focus on Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Townsville, but also other States in Australia with a firm goal of opening offices in Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and New Zealand.

There is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
After relaying my 'two days from hell' to a confidante, who had an interesting reply, I realised the reality of my world.
To put it in context, I replied to a text message with: "Life has to have challenges and your feelings have to be hurt to be alive. I wouldn't change a thing."

Adapting to business growth issues can be a struggle
In the past few months, I have had a business that is fairly much smooth sailing. We are adapting to our growth issues and ensuring that we streamline processes and constantly improve what we are doing in every facet of the business.
It's interesting to go through this process and realise that after 10 years, some sort of switch has been turned on, and we are picking and choosing our clients. We can't scale fast enough to cater for our burgeoning growth. Scale for most businesses isn't hard as long as you have the right processes in place. But for us, it is extremely difficult.

One day you may be stalking your clients prospect, next day ...
Right now Marketing Eye has such an amazing team. I don't say that lightly, as to be frank, this has not always been the case. We are growing exponentially with more leads than one can handle, and as such have not one, but nine positions available.

How you like your coffee says more than you think!
Walking into Caribou in Buckhead, Atlanta this morning, I was quietlly disturbed by a very loud American woman asking for her coffee.
"I would like a double mocha grande with a dash of skim milk, and a bit of vanilla. Oh, and I would like some sweetener with that. Make sure it isn't too hot. Actually, I don't want a grande, I want a tall. So that will be..."
I waited patiently for her to repeat her order over and over again until it was my turn.

Best friends or foes – where do you stand with your competitors?
Over the years, I have always thought being friends with your competitors is a very grey area. It’s grey because there is a limit about what you can share with them about your business whether you are best friends or not.
