Melbourne – The cost of customer acquisition is several times more expensive than keeping an existing one, yet companies still fail to do the basics particularly at the point of attrition, according to a leading customer retention software expert, Kuber Pant.
Minister for Information Technology Policy Chris Cummins today announced the Queensland Information and Communications Technology firms and industry organisations attending CeBIT Australia, the nation's most important ICT event.

Mr Cummins said the Beattie Government had provided $60,000 funding to ensure a Smart State showcase at the trade fair.
