I'm so busy right now. I am working very long hours and am in the office each morning before the sun rises. Not that I want to complain. I am doing something that I an incredibly passionate about and every single part of my business is going ballistic, so it's "time" to take it all the way.

When things go a big 'crazy' I call in the experts - my mentors. I ask them what they think about what I am doing and whether or not they think it will be successful. It's like having an educated bouncing board that have been there and done that.

Oh how the world has changed. Back in my fathers generation one bad egg would not have crippled a business. Though now it would.

The poison that one person can throw on a company is insurmountable, all made by humans of course in the form of the internet. Yet, we all breathe faith into common sense as a whole and how one complainer, may in fact be the only.

“See the positive side, the potential, and make an effort.” ~Dalai Lama

I am jetlagged. That's nothing unusual really. I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep and then eventually I get out of bed and go to work.

Usually before the sun rises.

That has become the norm as I fly internationally so often growing my business and exploring the world around me. During my travels, I pick up books from bookstores often on business or psychology. The more I can read someone, the better decisions I can make in life or in business. A few years back I was given a book on cold reading. I read it from front cover to back, and from that point on, I feel as though it has become much harder for people to pull the wool over my eyes.

I have a long history watching Malcolm Turnbull. I knew of him from his days as a tech entrepreneur, then later through a friend of mine who was proactive in helping him as part of his greater team of volunteers get into Parliament.

I even flew to Canberra for his Maiden Speech and watched him knowingly that one day he would become Prime Minister of Australia. And he is. Today he is Prime Minister of our amazing country that I am so proud to live in.

I'm a part-time leader in Atlanta. Actually, less than a part time leader - I am there when I can be but mostly I am running around the world doing other "stuff".

Our brand in Atlanta is continuing to grow. I am constantly going out and meeting people who know who we are, what we do and follow us on some sort of social media platform.

It's not by accident that we have grown our business there and it can largely be attributed to a few things:

The most amazing thing happeneda few days ago. I went to a pool party in Atlanta and a guy came up to me very excited at the opportunity to finally meet me. He had never met me before, but had heard things about me. But his real reason for wanting to meet me is that he is a "fan" of my blogs, tweets and really anything I put on social media.

Not the creepy type of fan. The genuine person who appreciates honestly, vulnerability and someone who is fearless in sharing her real life.

So, I thought I might start a few blogs about who I really am.

The mentor

To use this word seems strange to me because I feel like I am not old enough or experienced enough to be anyone's mentor, but it just so happens that I am a mentor to a lot of people and that is something I have to take seriously.

I'm an ideas person. The one that comes up with a thousand ideas, then shares a few with friends and makes one or two a reality.

It's so exciting when you come up with a great idea, but mostly, it's about how you can make it happen that determines whether you will truly be successful with the outcome or not.

I'm an exporter of marketing services. I became one a few years back when I decided to expand Marketing Eye into new markets, namely the US and Europe. The most suitable market after much research was America, so I did what any buddying entrepreneur would do and I completed a market research study to ensure that if I started a business there, it was not set up to fail.

I discovered quite by accident what I was meant to do with my career... and ironically having a baby is to thank for that! Despite the perception amongst young women in business that having babies will ruin their career, I actually think we have a lot to thank the baby making machinery for....!

Wow! I mean wow! I have recently travelled to the US and have arrived in our Atlanta office and I am completely and utterly amazed at the talent and sheer determination of our Marketing Eye team in Atlanta.

They are not only the best looking team in all of Atlanta, they are also the smartest and most competent.

Who would have thought that they could put together a team like this all by themselves and start running the business like I always dreamed it would be run.
