What am I doing in Australia?

There are many people before me, and there will be many others after, but I am starting to think to myself, that I do not belong in Australia. The country is too small, and there is not a big enough market to capitalise on the business I have built and newer businesses that I am involved with.
In everyone's lives, we have been given something that money cannot buy, and that is time. Today, we have an extra day in our year that we can do what we want with and make the most of being fortunate enough to add the extra day we weren't banking on to our lives.

So, what are you going to do with it?

I've decided to take control:
I can't pretend to have too much experience in scaling up a business, as I am still in the early stages of doing this with Marketing Eye, and there have been some challenges, but largely it's all about hard work, determination, and finishing a job that you start.

Why we make so many mistakes

Do you ever wonder why you make so many mistakes? Like when you forget to put the milk back in the fridge, don't lock the car or leave your laptop at home and only realise when you actually arrived at the office.

Designing the future of your company

Touch down! Atlanta here I am. I've conquered the first leg of this international trip and now I am ready and able to look at what is really going on in the world of Marketing Eye.

Everything has been such a cloud of recent, and for reasons out of my control. Now, we are taking the necessary steps to reach new levels in the business, and there has been a bit of a business turnaround.

Instead of focusing just on sales of Marketing Eye contracts, we are focusing on creating better career opportunities for marketers around the globe that want to own their own business.
Our extraordinary client Fabricare Center is Marketing Eye's featured guest blog of the week. The exceptional Dry Cleaner is opening their second location in the Sandy Springs area at the end of March. Check them out if you live in Atlanta, they offer free pickup and delivery.

Improving the quality and care of your garments has and will always their top priority. Not only have they been focused on expansion and having a wider reach within the community, but they have recently undergone a branding refresh. After 40 years of service it was time for a new look and feel. Yes, their is new branding and a new location, but the same great service still exists.
I returned from a trip overseas on 15th January 2016. I went to work to say hello to my team, then I went home without checking my emails. I hadn't in fact checked my emails in days. I really wasn't meant to be back so early and unlike many entrepreneurs, I have learned to live without checking emails and social media daily.
It's easy to be jealous of your employer, particularly when they have attained a certain level of success and have all the fancy things that come along with that; flashy cars, mansions, holidays, friends, invitations and the like.

In particular, this is true if you are at a certain age similar to your employer, or you have an inflated sense of who you are and what your actually capable of. But the reality is if you are feeling jealous, then it's time to go. Take that jealousy and go out and start your own show. You will find it more fulfilling and without as much angst until of course, you experience the same situation yourself.
Every year we speak to hundreds of entrepreneurs, all seeking to grow their businesses.

Some are able to achieve this successfully, as they have a business plan and marketing strategy in place, and they have invested in all the tools to gear them up to achieve their business goals.

Are you as good as you think?

An intelligent person knows that they are never as good as they think. They listen, rather than just talk when engaging with others, and they often engage the philosophy that there is always more they can learn to be better at the things that they need to be good at. If it's sport, they know that practice is essential, not just turning up on the day. Not too dissimilar to the workforce, actually.

The question I pose to you is; "Are you as good as you think?"
