Before and after website design - why sometimes you have to start from scratch
Quite a smart man, he was fascinating in so many ways; his knowledge of the world, people, psychology, business and his story on how he had grown up and started doing what he does today. I would imagine him to be a highly successful businessman who commands the attention of everyone in the room.
Since we both travel around the world and in particular, spend so much time in Atlanta, we have become firm friends.
The other week, he rung me up to do a favour. It was simple; fix my brothers website. After a Gold Coast company had conned him out of a whole heap of money and delivered him with nothing, and then another friend had been rushed but came up with the "before" shot which really isn't quite there, we gave it a go.
Our team has never met the client, nor have we ever had any conversations. Fortunately for us, we know the business and were able to strategise about what the businesses online presence should look like. With no brand to speak of, but a great product and team of landscape architects at their disposal, we embarked on designing a website that aims to draw new customers to the website, sell product and engage with customers looking to create sustainable green environments.
Our designer, Rin Phakkhieo, designed this website (to the right and referred to as after) ensuring that the website was interacted, engaged with the customer, visually appealing and integrated with social media networks. On top of that, she kept in mind search engine optimisation and the use of content on the home page to drive keywords that resonate with the visitor to the site.
Without much imagery, she utilized a combination of stock images and client images giving a clean, easy to navigate design that the client really likes.
"Love it, love it, love it," said the client.
Always remember that by redesigning and refreshing your website to be more in tune to your customers needs will only result in one thing - MORE SALES!Get your architecture right, design, functionality, browser compliance (firefox, safari and internet explorer) and don't forget search engine optimisation. In a business like this, yellow pages is almost dead and buried and now the most important search tools come in the form of Google, Yahoo and Bing.

04 Jul 2019It's been long time I am in working with these websites types of work. and this is really difficult that YES we have to start every time from the scratch, and I understand the basic reason too. because new websites are adding in google server and other servers everyday in huge speed and if you will not try to compete them on daily basis, you won't be able to stand in front of upcoming new advance websites. so the blogs, content and everything should be updated daily or weekly.

29 Aug 2014Cross country moving which is also known as interstate moving is quite common in many states of USA.
ReplyThe first thing that you will want to look
for in moving and storage companies in Atlanta is how their staff is trained.
Moving from one place to other would not have been such a difficult task had not the number of things that needed to
be moved being so overwhelming.

17 Aug 2014It's very nice to read this article and I'd like to read more about website design. Successful website design includes different types of skills. The interface should not only look pleasant but also reflect to the company's goals as well. I think in order to be efficient to draw new customers, the first and most important thing is to identify the audience and then define the corresponding purposes and functions.

22 Jul 2014What a great transformation. The site looked very cluttered before hand. You did a great job simplifying the navigation. Clear calls to action and a solid on and offsite SEO strategy are 2 of my winning strategies for attracting and converting more clients.
