19 December 2011; Tourism Authority of Thailand has appointed leading travel and tourism expert, Julie Schoneveld from marketing consultancy firm Marketing Eye to provide consulting services on strategic marketing plan to build tourism in the region.

The appointment ensures that the Tourism Authority of Thailand commitment to bolstering tourism in Thailand is realised through strategic marketing initiatives.

“Thailand is one of the world’s most magnificent holiday destinations, popular because it offers so much to the traveller and has everything from affordable holiday destinations, golfing resorts, health retreats and luxury holidays,” said Ms Schoneveld.

“I am thrilled to be appointed to promote Thailand and ensuring that we develop a strategy that collaborates with the industry and proactively positions Thailand the premier holiday destination for all Australians,” said Marketing Director, Julie Schoneveld.
